Providing care for guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats, and gerbils
Pocket pets require specialized care, just like any other patients we serve. Routine veterinary visits help ensure your pocket pet stays happy and healthy throughout their life. Whether you need recommendations about their specialized diet or assistance with routine care, our veterinary team is here to support you every step of the way.
Leading your pocket pet’s care is Dr. Lauren Monaco, DVM, our Medical Director and Veterinarian. Dr. Monaco earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical training at Purdue University. With additional academic achievements, including a Master’s in Integrative Biology from Wilfrid Laurier University and hands-on experience working with wildlife at the Toronto Wildlife Centre, Dr. Monaco brings deep expertise and compassion to the care of small mammals.
We are pleased to provide regular care to small creatures, including guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats, and gerbils. Our team loves working with these little companions, offering basic care and making sure they live long, happy lives. If your pocket pet requires more specialized treatments, we’re happy to refer you to trusted specialists.
